Our 10 instructors are all accredited with the Australian Coaching Council. Our chief instructor Tony Hails 6th Dan is the founder and chief instructor of Ishinryu Karate in Australia. Sensei Hails is a Level 2 accredited instructor and current National Coach with the Australian Karate Federation (a member of the World Karate Federation). Numerous other instructors hold National refereeing status and/or State, National or International competition experience. Several are qualified teachers and have experience with teaching students with physical and mental disabilities. Many of our instructors have evolved from being parents of children that they brought to our club, having seen the benefits of karate for themselves.
