Our instructors offer a tremendous blend of experience, skills and innovation.
Our coaching team is headed by Sensei Tony Hails 6th Dan, the highest graded Ishinryu karateka in the world under our founder Sensei Ticky Donovan OBE 9th Dan. Sensei Tony, Alison, Leighton or Cassidy oversee all classes in all dojos. They are ably assisted by numerous bronze accredited coaches, who in turn are assisted by fully supervised apprentice instructors. All instructors hold accreditation with the Australian Sports Commission. Silver level (Level 2 in other sports) is of a very high standard and there are only about 20 such coaches in Australia; Bronze level equivalent to Level 1. Each includes current first aid accreditation. A brief summary of the skills of the Sensei's are as follows. For thorough details please click on the link to each instructor.
