Karate is a contact sport and minor injuries may be incured. To minimise time away from the dojo prompt and correct injury management is essential. When in doubt, RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). Heat is NEVER an option for an injury within the first 48 hours. Avoid doing more HARM when you are injured:
